Local dancer Tom Ferguson came to Ulong Public School in 2016 to give our students a demonstration of traditional Aboriginal dance.
Tom then came to the school each week to teach traditional dance. This culminated in our end of year presentation and performance in December 2016, with students demonstrating their learning and understanding to parents and community members. The photos below were taken during dance lessons and demonstrations in Term 3 and 4. They thoroughly enjoyed learning dance and the significance of traditional Aboriginal dances.
Tom was an awesome facilitator who engaged students in their learning.
